Redlion
Kennel
was
established in March, 1977
when I bred by
first litter
of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers.
That litter
produced my National Specialty Winner. Redlion Kennel is a NJ
breeder of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and Labradors, competing in show,
field trials and hunt tests. We are located in Southampton, NJ, a small
country town in southern
New Jersey, 25
miles South of
Exit 7of the
NJ Turnpike
and east of
Philadelphia 50 minutes.
My breeding
program offers a
quality dog,
bred with the
AKC
breed standard
in mind. We strive to
produce a good
looking dog
that also
possesses
trainability
and natural
retrieving
instincts.
Redlion
Chesapeakes
are known to
be a dual-purpose dog. Many dogs produced by our breeding stock and
stud dogs compete in show on a national level, field trials, hunt tests,
obedience and agility trials, with many competing in more than one venue
at the same time. Our Labradors are a combined effort of field trial
breeding bred to Champion or Best in Show dogs. I have been an owner
and
breeder of
Chesapeakes
for 40 years,
competing in
licensed field
trials, AKC
Hunt Tests,
and Dog Shows
all over the
US and in many
areas of Canada.
I have been very successful at what I do and I take my breeding program
very seriously. All dogs are health checked before
breeding and
puppies are guaranteed to be free of PRA, DM, EDSF, Long Coat and EIC. I know
the background of the dogs and their pedigrees that I am breeding to. This is very
important and beneficial in accomplishing my goals. I want my dogs to be good
Retrievers, having correct type, sound breed quality, and maximum retrieving
ability. We offer Chesapeake, Labrador and Golden Retriever puppies, Stud Service and
occasionally a started gun dog for sale and some older dogs and puppies.
Over
the years, my
efforts have
been very
rewarding.

that I bred
