Let
Lisa help you achieve YOUR goals with YOUR dog -- you CAN do it!
Package 1: Obedience
Class: the desired goals at the
end of this class are to have your dog come to you when its called (the
first time!), walk on a leash (or perhaps even off-lead), sit, place, and
down on command, both next to you and at a distance. Necessary equipment
for this class is an e-collar. You will learn how to use the e-collar in a
kind, gentle manner, with only positive reinforcement. The class structure
will be group lessons with individual attention. Eight sessions, about one
hour each. Equipment must be purchased by the individual handler (you will
be instructed as to where to make your purchase). Handlers must be 18 years
and older. Dogs must be at least 16 weeks of age to start. Must bring your
own leash.
Class open for a maximum of 8 dogs, to ensure
individual attention. $160
Package 2:
Understanding Your Dog: learn the
4 basic questions your dogs asks everyday and how to answer them. The
desired goal at the end of instruction is to have a well-balanced dog who
willingly 'obeys' because of the solid bond created with all family members,
much like the "man's best friend" mantra that we all hope for! Dogs of all
ages, breeds, and temperaments benefit from this program, but I ask that
pups be at least 10 weeks old with all up to date shots. This will require
complete commitment on your part, and patience, since there is no form of
compulsion used - positive reinforcement only. This instruction is done on a
private, in-home basis. Since each dog and each family situation is
different, a specific number of lessons cannot be foreseen.
Initial evaluation: Free; First home visit (2 to 3
hours) $100
Follow-ups (about an hour each time) are billed
$30 per hour.
